A B-Movie Nightmare...And A Review?

I know its been along time since I have last posted anything, However to be honest I could not really think of anything. I know what your thinking. Why didn't I just post a review instead. To be honest it has gotten kind of hard for me to do lately cause for some reason or other the reviews just didn't sound right when I read them. Anyway for more details on this subject just read my side story post. Anyway on to what this post is about. I have recently signed up for netflix and have come across a lot movies I have yet to see. Some have been good and others have been bad. Then there was the ones that made me wish I have never seen them at all. These nightmares are commonly called B movies.
These B movies as they are called are movies that are mad on a low budget. I guess you can call them independent films. They mostly consist of no named actors and terrible plots. Now I am not saying all B movies are badly written or that they are the only ones that are. Trust me I seen plenty of other movies that have been badly written. It is just so far all the ones I seen have been terrible. Then of course is the acting. I mean seriously if you were looking for a reason to shot your self watch a b movie cause trust me death would be a blessing compared to the torture you would go through watching these movies. I will now give you a review of one of these movies. Now I know I usually put reviews in a separate post, but trust me they belong in this post. In fact I change my mind cause a review usually means you talk about whats good and whats bad about a movie. Unfortunately that is something I can not do with this movie. Anyway enough with delay lets get started.
The first is called Bloodsucking Babes From Burbank. I know the name should let you know ahead of time that it is going to suck. I kinda figured it would, but watched it anyway and do I ever regret that decision. Anyway when a group of well-meaning archeology students unearth an ancient jewel box in Southern California's Burbank mountains, they unleash a deadly curse that turns perfectly normal women into maniacal, bloodthirsty cannibals. I know even the summery sounds stupid. So I figured it would at least be funny. Man was I stupid. It was about as funny as Britney spears acting in crossroads.
The so called humor completely and obviously felt forced and don't even get me started on the deaths. Then of course there is the acting, or lack of. Each time someone delivered a line weather it be scared or angry they lacked one important thing. Emotion. There was no emotion in anything they said not to mention the lack of realism. I mean if you saw some one you love getting eaten. The first thing that should pop into your mind is to try and help not yell at the person to stop. Well anyway to end this nightmare here's the score.
Now I know this post is short and I know that this review is probably unorganized and is in fact one of the lamest reviews I ever typed, but trust me when I say there wasn't much I could do. Remember to read the side story as it will inform you of how I am planing to post my reviews now , but till then have a great day and feel free to leave behind a comment on some of the bad B movies you seen your self. Have a great day!!!!!

Review Update

Alright here is my first every side story post. Unfortunately it wont be along post. I just wanted to explain why I have not posted any reviews lately. The reason is it has gotten harder for me to be satisfied with what I type and not to mention along with all the games and movies I deal with I forget what I was going to type. So I figured it will be a lot easier and faster if I just did a video. So there might not be no reviews up until I get my web cam or something. Unless I am able to pull it together and type one Anyway just wanted to inform the reason the lack of post on my part. And I hope to be posting reviews up shortly.

Review | Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

You wake up sitting on a seat inside a train, look down and notice you're bleeding... a lot. A box falls straight at your face and you realize your train car is hanging off of a cliff. Your seat breaks and you tumble out of the train car and, luckily, slam onto the guardrail and grab on before you tumble off. You start to climb your way back up along the bottom of the train but a giant boulder falls from the cliff and nearly takes you with it. After a few more tense moments climbing you emerge in the next car that is perched right on the edge. In concert with your experience so far, it yields to the weight of the hanging car and starts to slide off the edge. You start running as fast as you can and make a desperate leap to the cliff edge just as the two doomed train cars fall into the oblivion below you.

That is the beginning of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves for the PlayStation 3, and believe me, the rest of the game gets even better. Let me put it simply; play this game. If you own a PS3, play this game. If you don't own a PS3, buy one right now, and play this game. Read on for the details.

Review | To Aru Majutsu no Index

Technology versus magic, or more accurately, science versus religion; this is the main hook of To Aru Majutsu no Index (literally: A Certain Magical Index), one of the latest series from J.C Staff. They have a pretty nice track record, including some of my favorites such as the amazing ROD The TV, Ghost Hunt, Ai Yori Aoshi and Shakugan no Shana. On top of that, the series has an interesting premise, so it was no question I'd be watching. The real question is, does this series stand up to all the others? Read on to find out!

Review | Batman: Arkham Asylum

Here is the first every review from Unhealthy Habits being bought to you by RedDragon. I remember when I was just a kid my mom took me to the movies to see Batman which stared Micheal Keaton and Jack Nicholson. That movie instantly became a classic for me just because I thought Batman was awesome and of course Jack Nicholson was funny. Not to long after that a cartoon series came out called Batman: The Animated Series. It aired during the weekdays after school. I loved the series. However that was not the only thing made after the movie starring the Dark Knight. There where also lots of games made through out the years, but unfortunately none of them held my interest. I found that either the story sucked or game play sucked. So every time a Batman game was announced I would ignore it cause I knew they wouldn't give it the justice it deserved. That was until Batman: Arkham Asylum was announced. I could tell from the start that they where trying real hard to take the time to make sure that they had a good story. Then finally I played the demo after that I was hooked. I couldn't wait till the release date. I have to say the game did not disappoint. Anyway without further delay I bring you Batman Arkham Asylum: The Review!!!!
